Ari, a Polsky Founders Fellow, has experience leading operational and strategic initiatives at two Fortune 500 companies. A graduate of the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, Ari has successfully taken Vaizian through the prestigious New Venture Challenge, Polsky Accelerator, and I-Corps.

Co-Founder + Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Perlin developed Vaizian’s methodology and built our AI system. Dr. Perlin’s past experiences include mapping Chromosome 11 as a principal investigator in the human genome project, receiving 13 patents ranging from DNA forensic software to innovative statistical methods, and running a premier DNA forensics company.

Co-Founder and Chief Emergency Medicine Officer

Dr. Accilien is an Emergency Medicine physician with a passion for emergent chest pain diagnostics, healthcare technology, healthcare systems and operations. He graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Exercise Physiology and completed his residency training at the University of Chicago where he served as Chief Resident.
